- Cardinal Health Foundation is the original funder of the Healthy Kids, Healthy Schools project. The Foundation has supported the development of the plan and the initial pilot project with Central Ohio schools. Our current funding with the Foundation is focused on bringing this project to Cleveland schools.
- American Electric Power Foundation has partnered with Ohio AFHK and, together, we are reaching schools in the AEP area of the state.
- Medical Mutual of Ohio Charitable Fund is helping to bring this program to Central Ohio schools.
- Honda of America Mfg., Inc. has also joined with Ohio AFHK to help reach schools in Clark and Union counties.
- Abbott Fund is also supporting the project by helping to create a plan on an effective statewide approach.
We will continue to reach more schools across Ohio as more funders partner with us on the Healthy Kids, Healthy Schools project. Through this partnership we can help schools make sustainable changes to their nutrition and physical activity policies and programs offered at school.
